When and where are your services?
We have one Sunday service which starts promptly at 10 a.m. We currently meet at Bear Lakes Middle School, 3505 Shenandoah Road, West Palm Beach, FL 33409.
What are your Sunday services like?
The dress and atmosphere tends to be relaxed but reverent. You can wear jeans. You can wear a tie. It’s your decision. We understand that God looks upon the heart, not the outward appearance. We ask only that you dress modestly. This means avoiding clothing that is particularly revealing or alluring in anyway.
The music is Christ-exalting and full of energy, ranging from traditional hymns to the latest worship songs. The messages are always exposited from the Bible, point to Christ, and are taught in a relevant manner. To view a sample of our bulletin which includes our regular order of worship click here.
What do you have for my children/infant?
Every Sunday we have a dedicated and loving Children's ministry team that welcomes your child with open arms as Jesus did. We provide nursery care for infants and toddlers (6 months - 2 yrs) as well as a Bible-enriched Sunday School (age 3 - 11yrs) where your child/children will do more than just play. They will be encouraged to worship God by learning more about who He is for us in Jesus in a fun and engaging environment.
What is expected of me when I arrive?
When you visit Truth Point, you will not be put on the spot. We will not single you out or require you to give us any information. After the service, we will not come knocking on your door. We ask only that you give yourself completely to God in worship and be open to His Spirit teaching you and transforming you as you come to meet Him above all.
Will I be asked to give financially to this church?
No one will ask you for your purse or your wallet and we do not pass an offering plate. However, each Sunday, an offering box is provided for all those who wish to worship God with their resources as a cheerful response to the gospel. These financial gifts enable our church to fulfill the mission and vision God has given it. Both the Old and New Testaments teach us about giving in accordance to what God has given us as a demonstration of our gladness and faith in God.
Do you have plans to meet in a permanent facility?
Since Sept. 20, 2009, we have met at Bear Lakes Middle School. It has been a wonderful experience. However, we do plan to one day have a permanent centrally located facility that meets our needs as well as the needs of the West Palm Beach community.
