Life In The Vine

From the words of Jesus in the Gospel of John, Pastor Jeremy McKeen gives us a clear definition on what it means for Christians to Abide in Christ. Where we remain in this life will indicate how we respond to it.

Authentic Christianity cannot be lived apart from the life of Christ. "We never happen to become Christians. Christianity is something that happens to us!" These are a few principles Pastor Jeremy exhorts Truth Point Church to be gripped by in the series "Ask and It Shall Be Received". By recognizing our Heavenly Father, His extraordinary gift of grace, and how God's pwoer is worked out in our daily life, we realize that the Christian life can only be lived by the power of the Holy Spirit.

There is always a joy to be found. The profound truth we must walk in is that " it takes wisdom to live with joy". In the second message Pastor Jeremy McKeen preaches in the series "Ask and It Shall Be Recieved", we discover what wisdom actually is, why we need it, and how the Bible teaches we can get it!

During this time of year, it is typical that you will have a list, or at least thought of several items you would like to see under the tree. In the series "Ask and it shall be given", Pastor Jeremy Mckeen unwraps three gifts Christians must ask for within the framework of their walk with God. The first gift mentioned is the gift of "spiritual sight". Through the study of Scripture, we quickly realize that we all "become what we behold". Be encouraged by beholding the Gospel, and may you have eyes to see!
