Genesis 3 has been called by many to be the most important chapter in all of the Bible. In the first week of our 8 week series, entitled, "The Garden & The Gospel," Jeremy looks at the sequence from Chapter 2 to 3, the Serpent, and his Strategy.
In Part 2 of our 8 week series through Genesis 3, entitled, The Garden & The Gospel, Jeremy looks at the Distortion, the Deception, and the hope we have in the Deliverer.
In part 4 of our series, The Garden and The Gospel, Jeremy seeks to answer from Genesis 3:7-10, 2 questions. 1) How does the gospel free us from a life of hiding? and 2) How do we you know if we've met God?
In Part 5 of The Garden and The Gospel, Pastor Jeremy challenges us to look at the response of Adam and Eve and ask ourselves, who are we blaming in life? Is it God? Is it other people? Perhaps, it's even the Devil? The response of Adam invites us to look for the greater Adam, the One who will come and not blame His bride, but set out to redeem her.
In part 6 of our series, The Garden and The Gospel, Pastor Jeremy teaches why true freedom, and true fulfillment is found under God's authority. Because ... only God has a position of absolute justice; only God has a power that can change us; and only God has a promise we can fully trust in.
In Part 7 of the Garden and the Gospel, Pastor Jeremy takes us through Genesis 3:16-20 to show us how, even in the midst of this fallen and sinful world, the word of God gives us the hope of life in our homes, in our work, in our death, and in our future.
How do I know if I've experienced and truly understood God's mercy? How should God's mercy change the way I live? In the final message of The Garden and The Gospel series, Pastor Jeremy teaches from Genesis 3:21-24 on the 3 results of being confronted with the greatness of God's mercy.
The wonder of living it up is through the willingness to give it up. * NOTE: For some reason the recording for this sermon is not complete.
Before Jacob could go and reconcile with his brother, Esau, Jacob needed to go and reconcile with God. In this message, Rev. Brad Shmidt shows how wrestling with God is a beautiful picture of how we relate to God in life. We find a God who never lets his people go.
