In Part 2 of our 8 week series through Genesis 3, entitled, The Garden & The Gospel, Jeremy looks at the Distortion, the Deception, and the hope we have in the Deliverer.

Genesis 3 has been called by many to be the most important chapter in all of the Bible. In the first week of our 8 week series, entitled, "The Garden & The Gospel," Jeremy looks at the sequence from Chapter 2 to 3, the Serpent, and his Strategy.

Unbelief in three areas is the root of our frequent anxiety. Jeremy preaches from 1 Peter 5:5-7 to teach what those areas are and how to win the war of anxiety on the battlefield of belief.

The most important freedom is being free from the tyranny of sin. In this text, Jesus identifies three keys to true freedom. Someone who is truly free from sin is free to 1) Serve the right Master, 2) Live the way we’re designed, and 3) Remain the family of God. I am indebted to Rev. Tim Keller for a number of insights into this text. Unfortunately, i mistakenly failed to appropriately credit him in the sermon audio. I have personally made him aware of this unintentional omission.

Continuing to preach on our Mission Statement, Jeremy looks at a portion of Isaiah to point out 2 things the people of God must not do and 2 things we must do to begin to see our city renewed for the glory of Christ.

What is revival? What must take place for revival to happen? We take a look at Jesus’ penetrating pescription for revival for the church in Sardis and all churches who are nominal and need to be restored to normal.

Why don’t people seek God? What does it mean to seek God? And how does God reward us when we do?
