From the very beginning of Truth Point Church, it has not been about our story, as it has been about the story  – the wonderful news about what God has done for us in Christ…

The God who created us looked out upon a world that was in rebellion against Him and He had mercy & compassion. He knew all of us were sinners and that no amount of good works could earn our way into a relationship with Him. God is just and must punish our sins, and the punishment is death, eternal separation from God and all that is good. But He is also a God of love and does not want to punish us.

God the Father, in His great love for us, sent God the Son to earth in the person of Jesus Christ. Jesus, who is both God and Man, lived a sinless and perfect life and allowed himself to be arrested, tried,  convicted, and hung upon a cross. On the cross, God the Father put our sins upon Christ and He was punished in our place. He died for our sins. His body was put in a tomb, but three days later he rose again from the dead. And he told his disciples to go out and tell the story … that everyone who turns from their sin and receives Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior by faith alone receives the forgiveness of sins and the free gift of eternal life, a life lived with and for God … forever! And so we are left with only Two Ways to Live: God’s Way or Man’s Way.
