Vision & Values
Our Vision:

We have a vision to join God in the building of a new body of believers who are passionate about learning the truth of God’s heart and living out the truth of God’s Word. Inspired by a Christ-like, Spirit-led love, we see people growing in 4 key areas: Knowing God, Loving God, Trusting God, and Obeying God. As we grow in grace we will take God’s truth, through word and deed, into our homes, businesses, and communities to help renew the city of West Palm Beach. As the church truly revives, her city will begin to be renewed.

We have a vision to see God, by His grace, save over three hundred people through our ministry in the next 3 years by clearly setting forth and exalting the gospel each Sunday from the pulpit and equipping people to share the gospel where ever they go. To faithfully disciple the flock that God entrusts us with, we desire to raise up 25 elders and deacons who will shepherd God’s people in missionial groups, and to eventually begin an academy and seminary that will train the next generation to live life in many spheres of cultural influence for the glory of Christ. Our Values:

Our core values help determine our priorities, direct our decision making, and distinguish us from other ministries. They’re not the Ten Commandments; they didn’t come down from Mount Sinai; they’re just our top ten values that help shape who we are and that say to those around us, “here’s what we hold most dear…”.

1: The Glory of God

…Whatever you do, do it all to the glory of God” (1 Cor. 10:31). We put the highest value on putting God in the highest place. We want God to have the center of attention, receiving the glory, honor, and praise that He deserves. The purpose of life is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever, and we can’t do one without the other. God is most glorified in us when our greatest joy is in Him. So, the question we want to always ask ourselves is, “Will this bring glory to God?”

2: The Truth of Inspired Scripture

Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth” (John 17:17). The Bible, consisting of 66 books of the Old and New Testaments, is the perfect revelation of God and is the final authority for all that we say and all that we do. In it we learn what we are to believe concerning God and what duty God requires of us. God’s Word, alone, has the power to transform hearts, renew minds, and equip men and women to serve Him.

3: Love For God and Others

You shall love the Lord your God … and love your neighbor as yourself” (Matt. 22:37, 39). The mark of a Christian is living out the love of God as embodied in the person of Jesus Christ. We desire to demonstrate this type of unconditional, compassionate, and sacrificial love. Without it, we are nothing. The more we know the truth of God, the more we will love Him, and out of our personal love relationship with God we are driven to love others as ourselves.

4: Unity in the Essentials of Faith

…Contend for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints” (Jude 3). While we encourage the liberty of conscience in a number of areas, we believe that a church, serving under the Lordship of Christ, must be unified in the essentials of the faith. Some of these include: The Bible as the inspired, inerrant, infallible Word of God; the Trinity; the deity and humanity of Jesus Christ, Salvation by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone, the physical resurrection and return of Christ, etc. (For more essentials please see our statement of faith)

5: Christ-Centered Worship

…The Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, He will bear witness about me” (John 15:26). The essence of our private and public worship is being led by God, the Holy Spirit, to treasure God, the Son, to the honor of God, the Father.  We value celebrating the person and work of Christ more than anything else in life. It is “Him we proclaim” (Col. 1:28a). The purpose of our praises, prayers, and preaching is to exalt Jesus, so that “in everything Christ may be preeminent” (Col. 1:18).

6: The Gospel of Grace

…For, I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God unto salvation …” (Rom. 1:16a).There is one gospel of grace consisting of the bad news about ourselves and the good news about what God has accomplished through Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection to redeem His people and renew His creation. We value the proclamation and propagation of the wisdom, victory, and power of the cross, where Satan, sin, and death, were conquered by the sacrificial love of Christ for His Church.

7: Intentional and Relational Discipleship

Go and make disciples of all the nations” (Matt. 28:19a). As soon as someone is born into a covenant family or born again into the family of God they are to be instructed in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. We place a high value on the form of discipleship being 1) intentional, that is, reaching out to one another through proactive instruction and compassionate discipline. 2) The nature of discipleship being relational, that is, learning the Word and ways of God through genuine relationships that build a working knowledge of the Scriptures and accountability with one another.

8: Evangelism and Missions

And he said to them, ‘Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel’” (Mark 16:15). Our call is to proclaim the life-saving message to every people group in every nation so that everyone might come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. From the people across our streets, to the people across our seas, we value sharing the gospel in word and deed and sending out and supporting local and foreign missionaries that will be Christ’s ambassadors to a lost and dying world in need of eternal hope.

9: Marriage and Families

…Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome, and fight for your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your homes” (Neh. 4:14). We value building strong marriages and families where God is worshipped and served within the covenant home. We value husbands who love their wives as Christ loved the church, and wives who respect their husbands. We value parents who seek to instruct their children to learn God’s Word and inspire them to follow God’s ways. We value children whose hearts are turned toward their parents in the pursuit of honoring them and God.

10: Excellence and Fruitfulness

Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men” (Col. 3:23). We strive for excellence in everything we set our hearts and hands to do so that in everything God may receive the glory. Because all our work is unto the Lord, we value providing excellent and superior work. From farming to finance, all that we do should bear earthly and eternal fruit to impact our culture for the Kingdom of God.

“In sum, we desire to be a God-glorifying, Scripture-saturated, loving and unified people of the faith, who seek to savor and share Jesus Christ and His gospel, disciple young and old, evangelize the lost, build strong marriages and families, and work with excellence to bring honor to and bear fruit for Christ and His Kingdom.”
